You must be a soul winner because soul winning is the supreme task of every kind of minister, even if they are not evangelists.
God gave the five-fold ministry to the body of Christ to ensure that the work of Christ continues. We have apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. What is the duty of these different ministries? The ultimate goal for every minister is to win the lost to Christ. When I see a large crowd, what occurs to me is the souls that can be saved.
Romans 10:14 KJV
How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
We must become soul winners because we must all do the work of evangelists.
2 Timothy 4:5 KJV
But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
